Secure Pathway was founded on a straightforward belief: that professional services firms deserve senior cyber security expertise that speaks their language, not generic advice dressed up in jargon, and not a Big 4 engagement that takes six months to deliver a report you could have written yourself.
I'm Rory Hardyman, the founder of Secure Pathway. I've spent my career building and leading cyber security functions inside complex professional services environments — most recently within a top-75 UK law firm. In that role, I established the firm's security function from the ground up, secured board investment to deliver a structured resilience programme, achieved Cyber Essentials Plus certification, and led the firm through ISO 27001 readiness, all while advising partners, executives, and risk committees in plain English.
I know what it feels like to be the person responsible for keeping a professional services firm secure. I hold the CISM certification from ISACA — the recognised standard for senior information security management. I work to frameworks including NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and Cyber Essentials, and I bring a track record of delivering measurable outcomes rather than theoretical recommendations.
